Winterhaven, California - The Imperial Valley Economic Development Corporation (IVEDC) will be hosting the eighth annual Imperial Valley Renewable Energy Summit, “Imperial Valley: Powering New Frontiers” on March 11-13, 2015 at the Quechan Resort in Winterhaven, CA. The renewable energy summit where will focus on the ever changing - and expanding - opportunities for development in the region where the full spectrum of renewable energy production continues to thrive.
In addition to a slate of impressive speakers, the summit features a tour of area renewable energy facilities, a business exposition and plenty of networking opportunities.
Scheduled attendees: Jonathan M. Weisgall, Vice President, Legislative & Regulatory Affairs, Berkshire Hathaway Energy Company, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, leads a slate of renewable energy luminaries, as opening keynote speaker on Thursday, March 12, 2015. There is no question that the Imperial Valley is the land of opportunity for renewable energy development. Geothermal, solar and wind power plants in the region already export well over 1,000 megawatts of renewable energy to surrounding communities.
